WebJun 20, 2024 · We got stranded in Cedar Rapids because of the weather and a Delta Airlines systems crash. So, figuring we had a few hours we visited Czech Village and the nearby museum. The Museum is an amazing building having to be moved just a few years after it was built because of a historic flood in 2008. WebJul 20, 2015 · Just went to the Czech & Slovak for the first time for my birthday. A group of 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed the history. There are a couple very short (about 10 mins long) films to watch that give the detail of the moving of the museum after the flood in 2008 as well as the creation of the exhibits. I think the entrance fee was around $10.
