Web11 de ago. de 2024 · Sliding doors are an excellent way to hide a washer and dryer in the kitchen. These doors that hide the laundry match the woodwork found throughout the room. Extra space is added with a countertop above the duo and an additional shelf for storing detergent and other laundry necessities. WebOf course, I would have to keep the cabinet door open when the dishwasher is running. The alternative would be to buy a new dishwasher (with hidden controls) that accepts wood panels. Has anyone on this forum had a custom kitchen cabinet made that allowed you to hide the dishwasher behind a cabinet door?

You can use it as a shallow pantry if it is is full height, or you can do upper/lower cabinets with the counter extending behind the door. Reason I would build behind the door, is that 14" of depth behind the door is quite a bit of space.
