Web29 feb. 2012 · The trouble with gel coat is that in order to get it to spray as a top coat, you have to thin it out quite a bit, if you use standard spray equipment. You might want to try thinning it out as much as recommended and then use a roller. You will still have to do some sanding with 2000 grit to get a real good finish.
