WebJan 14, 2012 · Shunt feeding a tower is not an easy thing to do. You really need consider every part of the existing antenna system, including the tower/ mast. A good design for a shunt feed tower needs at least 120 radials laid out, each 250 foot long, and this would work on 1.8 and 3.5MHz.
